We here at Kettlebell Kitchen know the importance of knowing how to cook real food from scratch--especially for those who want to eat healthy and eat well. Knowing how to cook for yourself empowers you to make smart food choices, helps you save money, lets you know what's really in your food, and is just plain FUN.
And while we're a paleo meal-delivery service that lets you never cook a meal if you don't want to, we're still going to encourage you to give cooking a try. Even if you've never cooked AT ALL.
Below you'll find a ton of resources for both paleo-cooking techniques/recipes in particular and simply learning how to cook in general.
Many of us feel like we're too busy to cook from scratch, but the beauty of being a Kettlebell Kitchen customer is, you can do some, most, or all of your meals with us as you start to experiment with cooking a little bit (a dessert here, a Sunday breakfast there) and maybe eventually split your meals 50/50 or 80/20 between homemade and KBK-made.
When you know you'll be eating well with us some/most/all of the time (depending on how many meals per week you order), playing around with learning to make a couple meals a week on your own can feel like play instead of drudgery.
Building new habits take time and effort. By taking advantage of these tremendous online resources below, you can slowly incorporate the types of recipes that interest you most (or scare you the least!). Maybe you want to do lots of crockpot recipes or finally use your oven for something other than storage of extra pots and pans. Maybe desserts that are paleo but also delicious enough to tempt your non-paleo friends are what intrigue you the most. Whatever it is, find something you really want to cook, and then you'll find the whole process a lot less painful.
Lastly, stay tuned to our blog for paleo recipes and ideas as well. Bon appetit!
